Español: El diablo cojuelo es el principal personaje que ambula por las calles de La Vega todos los domingos de febrero de cada año. Adornado con plumas, lentejuelas, cascabeles, una vejiga de cuero (regulada por los organizadores) y su despampanante máscara da a conocer la creatividad y permanencia de tradición de cada uno de los grupos participantes de este evento (que ascienden a más de 100 grupos).
Es un personaje enérgico, saltarín y juguetón que da vejigazos o golpes leves a las personas que se encuentren dentro del área permitida.
