Determination of the mean length of a foot in a German town during the XVth or XVIth century, after a woodcut which was published in the book Geometrei by Jakob Koelbel (Frankfurt, ca. 1575).

Cette figure est dans le domaine public, eu égard au fait que son auteur est mort depuis plusieurs siècles. Elle a été scannée à une résolution de 300ppi à partir d'un frontispice figurant dans le syllabus Statistische Methoden der Datenanalyse (Hochschulskript BI816/816a, Mannheim 1968). L'auteur de ce syllabus, le professeur Siegmund Brandt, a eu la gentillesse de me confirmer que cette figure se trouve bien dans le domaine public et qu'elle peut être utilisée librement à toutes fins utiles.
