Description
English: Maj. Gen. John Shaw, Combined Force Space Component Command commander, stands with engineering students during a visit to California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Calif., on Nov. 2, 2020. Shaw met students and staff of PolySat, a student-run, multidisciplinary independent research lab at the university, and thanked the university for its decade-long history of partnership and collaboration in space studies. Vandenberg AFB and Cal Poly signed their first space Cooperative Research and Development Agreement in Nov. 2019.
