Description
English: CHICAGO, Ill. (Aug. 4, 2003)--The tall ship Bounty prepares to bid farewell to the Chicago Tall Ships Festival while a boat crew from Station Calumet Harbor accompanies her through the Chicago locks and into Lake Michigan. The Coast Guard played an integral part in setting and enforcing security and safety zones during the event's Parade of Sail, and around ships moored at various locations. More than twenty tall ships participated in the event, making it the largest tall ship festival on the Great Lakes. USCG photo by PA2 Alan Haraf
