Tang Emperor Taizong discovered a sweet, refreshing spring while visiting his summer palace. He ordered his Prime Minister Wei Zheng to compose an essay about the event, and asked Ouyang Xun to undertake the calligraphy. A famous calligrapher - particularly in standard script - Ou profoundly influenced the calligraphy of succeeding generations. |
