DescriptionCOLLECTIE TROPENMUSEUM Een Dajak familie uit Poedjoengan Oost-Borneo TMnr 10005579.jpg |
Nederlands: Negatief. (P. Boomgaard, 2001). Een Dajak familie uit Poedjoengan, Oost-Borneo English: It should go here to a group from the Apokajan area as we rely on the insignia of the women, the ivory bracelets, the stretched earlobes with characteristic 'earrings' and headgear. Come on Malaysian Borneo elephants believed that their ancestors long ago imported by the Sultans of Sulu so that the ivory of these animals may come. The Apokajan area is close to the border with East Malaysia. Overseas trade in elephants was already advanced in the 17th century quite normal. (P. Orchard, 2001). A Dayak family from Poedjoengan, East Borneo. |
