Nederlands: Hoofddoek. Vierkante hoofddoek voor mannen, met de kleuren rood, blauw en wit. In het midden van de doek staat een rode ruit (modang), de rest van de doek is geheel blauw. In de middenruit is Arabisch geschreven; zo ook in het blauwe deel, van de zijden van de middenruit naar beneden. De tekst in de rode middenruit bestaat uit de namen van God en de Profeet Mohammed met daaromheen de namen van de vier rechtgeleide kaliefen (Abu Bakr, Omar, Uthman en Ali). Op elk van de vier zijden van de ruit is een kalligrafie aangebracht die iets wegheeft van de shahada, de islamitische geloofsbelijdenis. Op het blauwe deel is vier keer een Korantekst, nl. het Troonvers (Koran 2:255), gekalligrafeerd.
De rand van de doek bestaat uit een rode lijn en daarbuiten een witte lijn. Volgens verzamelaar Veldhuisen werd de doek gebruikt ter bescherming tegen het kwaad (zie documentatie). De doek werd gemaakt voor de lokale markt en voor export naar Sumatra.. Hoofddoek voor man met kalligrafie
English: Headscarf for men with calligraphy. Square scarf in red, blue and white. In the middle of the canvas is a red diamond (modang), the rest of the cloth is completely blue. In the middle pane is written Arabic, so in the blue part of the side of the middle window down. The text in the red diamond center consists of the names of God and the Prophet Muhammad, surrounded by the names of the four rightly guided Caliphs (Abu Bakr, Omar, Uthman and Ali). On each of the four sides of the diamond is one that is slightly reminiscent of calligraphy of the Shahada, the Islamic creed. The blue part is four times a Quran text, namely the Throne Verse (Qur'an 2:255), calligraphy. The edge of the fabric consists of a red line and beyond a white line. According to Veldhuisen collector, the cloth is used to protect against evil. The cloth was made for the local market and for export to Sumatra.
