Nederlands: Het hebben van een langgerekt achterhoofd gold als een van de vrouwelijke schoonheidsidealen bij de Mangbetu. Deze schedeldeformatie werd bereikt door het hoofd van baby's al vanaf de geboorte stevig in te wikkelen. Dansk: At have et aflangt hoved var et skønhedsideal i Mangbetu-stammen. Denne kranium deformation blev skabt ved at binde snore omkring hovedet af babyen helt fra fødslen af, imens kranie-knoglerne stadigt er bløde. |
