Nederlands: Volgens de gegevens van de fotograaf fungeert deze religieuze dignitaris als waarzegger, medicijnman en magier. Ook is hij de bewaker en priester van een heiligdom bestaande uit een kleizuil op sokkel. De leren band afgezet met kaurischelpen om zijn hoofd is een teken van wijding en waardigheid. Om de hals is nog net een koord te zien waaraan magisch geladen voorwerpen hangen. Zie voor meerdere portretfoto's van deze man ook inventarisnummers 20010055 en 20010056. |
