Nederlands: Haak. Een fraai object in de vorm van een vogel, mogelijk een pauw. Aan dit object zijn twee functies toegeschreven.
De eerste is een leidselhouder op een zadel. Dat werd gebruikt tijdens wedstrijden en jachtpartijen. De houder wordt achter de riem gestoken, om de handen bij het rijden vrij te hebben, werden de teugels achter de haak gehangen. De andere functie zou het ophouden van de heupdoek van een pas besneden jongetje zijn. De haak zou het schuren van de heupdoek tegen de verse wond verhinderen. Dergelijke voorwerpen komen voor met de kop van een vogel, maar ook met die van een gekroonde slang. In het belangwekkende boek 'De Inlansche Kunstnijverheid in Nederlandsch Indië; de bewerking van niet-edele metalen; ' van de heren Jasper en Pirngadie staat een dergelijk voorwerp afgebeeld en benoemd als leidselhouder. In de collectie van het Tropenmuseum bevindt zich een schilderij van J. Taanman uit 1881. Hierop staat de toenmalige kroonprins van Surakarta, de latere Susuhunan Paku Buwana X (Surakarta, 1866 – Surakarta, 1939) afgebeeld als zevenjarig kind. Aan zijn buikband is een dergelijke haak of gesp bevestigd. Het is mogelijk dat dit schilderij (later) vervaardigd is ter gelegenheid van zijn besnijdenis. Waarom staat dit dan toch bekend als een leidselhouder? Een mogelijke verklaring is dat het een interpretatie is van 19e eeuwse onderzoekers, die te weinig aandacht hadden voor islamitische voorwerpen.
