English: CTC sign on the George Hotel, High Street, Cley next the Sea One of the benefits offered to members of the Cyclist's Touring Club has always been a handbook of hotels and guest houses that welcome cyclists, and in the late 19C and early 20C these were marked by iron badges fastened to the wall of the establishment. Later there was a change to plastic badges in a window, but many of the original badges are still in situ.. |
