Description

The town Cahors in Southern France has many attractions including the "Pont Valentré" - a six-span fortified stone arch bridge crossing the Lot River. It took 70 years to build and has been in use since 1350.

It's 138 metres (450 ft) long and the top of the towers are 40 metres (130 ft) high.

Today it takes pedestrian traffic only and is a major tourist attraction
