Summary edit

Description Water is vital to California. Fifty percent of the state's water originates from National Forest systems lands. This slideshow, accompanied by a calming audio file, contains 14 photographs that illustrate the flow of water from snow-capped mountaintops through natural run-offs and channels to creeks, streams and rivers; and completing its journey in natural lakes that offer scenic views and recreation activities.
