| Description |
The coastal ranges (bottom of frame) get all the moisture that blows in from the ocean, the rain shadow is desert, and then comes the Central Valley, irrigated by diverted rivers.... I haven't found where this is on the map, yet. Its north of Coalinga, and the road at the top of the frame is almost certainly Interstate 5, North on the left, South to the right.
