Дерево сягає у висоту до 40-50 м і до 1-2 м в діаметрі. Має вузькоконусовидну крону в молодому віці, в зрілішому - ширококонусовидну. Кора стовбура темнокоричнева, з поздовжніми і поперечними тріщинами.

The tree reaches a height of 40-50 m and 1-2 m in diameter. It has a narrow-conical crown at a young age, in the more mature - broad-conical. The bark of the trunk is dark brown, with longitudinal and transverse cracks. English: Calocedrus decurrens, with the common names incense cedar and California incense-cedar, is a species of conifer native to western North America. It is the most widely known species in the genus, and is often simply called 'incense cedar' without the regional qualifier |
