An electric car line has just been completed down theavenue, starting passengers on their trip from the Southern Pa-cific station. At night, when the avenue is illuminated by elec-tricity, and, seemingly, the stars twinkle in the tree-tops, driftingdown the avenue means indeed a happy, midsummers night dream. The sister avenue, Victoria, is hardly less interesting. The Southern Pacific Companys depot in Riverside, withinhallooing distance of the busiest business corner, is not excelledanywhere as a model station and equalled perhaps only by theCompanys stations at Redlands and Pasadena. Returning from Riverside, the homeward trip is made via theroute described, taking the opposite side of the loop from Onta-rio west. The other side of the car will unveil new wonders tothe eye. 32
