Notes The portrait depicst the sister of Queen Marie Casimire Sobieska, born Marie Anne de La Grange d'Arquien (c. 1640-1735) and married to Jan Wielopolski. Traditionally identified as a portrait of Anna Movilă (1579–1667). Anna Movilă was a daughter of Ieremia Movilă of Moldavia, married 4 times, for the last time with Hetman Stanisław Rewera Potocki. Lady in wating of Queen Marie Louise Gonzaga of Poland, she supported French politics in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Despite the iscription on reverse identifying the sitter as Anna Movilă (Anna Mohylanka) this should be rejected as incorrect due to similarity to portraits of Queen Marie Casimire and her sister and features of the costume from 1680s.
