Summary edit

This is a photograph taken by me in 2004. Camden House consists of the central Georgian house and the addition on the left. On the right, at right angles, is Camden Cottage. These were the family homes of members of the Hazlehurst family in the 19th century, soap and alkali manufacturers who formed the business of Hazlehurst & Sons. The house then became a bank, and still functions as such, while the cottage now houses a solicitors' business. It is a Grade II listed building.
