English: Army Maj. Henry McCaskill, Jr. (center), the operations chaplain (forward) for the 1st Theater Sustainment Command, stands with soldiers from the equal opportunity sections from the 143d Sustainment Command and the 1st TSC. The 143d ESC invited McCaskill—currently deployed to Afghanistan—to attend the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration held Jan. 20 at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, to speak to service members, contractors and Department of Defense civilians about his experiences growing up in Alabama during the 1960s. McCaskill's father, Henry McCaskill, Sr., helped organize many of the rallies, marches and meetings associated with King's civil rights movement. |
