| Description |
English: This colorized photo postcard shows USAAC trainees marching in formation in the infield area of the horse racing track at Camp Crane. This area was used primarily as a drill and formation field, as well as for training classes by the Ambulance Corps.
This infield grassy area sort of remains today, much of it now being covered with gravel. Horse racing on the track ended in the 1960s. |
