At the side of the window were rows of Christ-mas stockings, while the whole was framed with an arch of colored tissuepaper; the lights striking this display from an angle set it out in sharprelief, and made it a most effective selling argument. Ernest Lawley, of J. F. Fumerton & Co., Kelowna, B.C. 2. MacEwen Grocery, Cobalt, Ont. There was only a limited representation in Class B, and consequently onlytwo awards were made. The windows illustrated herewith, along withother windows, will appear in the Fall Number, in time to be of serviceto the merchant in planning his Christmas window. THE window of J. F. Fumerton <& Co., Kelowna, B.C., winners offirst prize in Class B, was dressed by Ernest Lawley. It was trimmedwith bunting with three bells hanging from top. First, a row of packagedates, then a row of currants with compliments of season printed in withpeppermints, then a row of bulk figs, a row of nuts of all kinds in theshell separated with Xmas crackers and a row of oranges at the back.i\l ext, a row of assorted candies separated with a spray of holly and a rowof Xmas stockings. At the back a pyramid was built of empty boxes forthe centre of the background and trimmed with two glass jars of shellednuts and a jar of cranberries in the centre. The rest of pyramid was offancy boxes of chocolates of assorted sizes. Attheiopwas a small decor-ated Xmas tree. The sides of pyramid were. Xmas crackers, jars andcomb honey and bottles of maple syrup and two cases of oranges, and ontop were Xmas crackers and a fern in the centre, and at the back a pyra-mid of canned
