English: I am now at the fag end of the large market which adjoins the Amphawa floating market. Outside of the plethora of stalls selling salted fish and curios and tourist kitsch, with the odd shop producing coconut fudge (see previous pictures earlier in this album), we are now outside the market area to the freshly cooked food section. This market doesn’t offer only seafood and Thai desserts, but it also has other categories of food such as noodles, steak, grilled chicken, Pad Thai, oysters fried in egg batter, papaya salad, and others. And this one- sweet shrimp. This is basically candied (sugar coated) shrimps. Now how unusual is that? One can also get coffee here but that was in another section of the market which runs along the river- we are perpendicular to the river now. (Amphawa Floating Market, Thailand, Oct. 2018)
