Afrikaans: Kirstenbosch Deutsch: Van Riebeeck's Hecke, Botanischer Garten Kirstenbosch, Kapstadt English: Van Riebeeck's Hedge, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, Cape Town. This Wild almond hedge was planted in 1660 on the instructions of Jan van Riebeeck to protect the boundaries of the settlement at the Cape.
