English: Capt. Douglas Casavant, right, the civil service master of the joint high speed vessel USNS Spearhead (JHSV 1), talks to U.S. Navy Cmdr. Demetries Grimes, the executive officer of Naval Support Activity Souda Bay, Greece, about the ship's propulsion system Feb. 5, 2014, as the ship makes a scheduled port visit to Naval Support Activity Souda Bay, Greece, while deployed in support of Africa Partnership Station. Africa Partnership Station is an international security cooperation initiative facilitated by Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa aimed at strengthening global maritime partnerships through training and collaborative activities in order to improve maritime safety and security in Africa.
