Summary edit

Description
English: When it opened in the 1970s, Captain John's restaurant was a popular waterfront tourist attraction. The ship was permanently moored at the Yonge Street slip. By the turn of the century, business had fallen, the ship was in disrepair and the reviews were scathing. In the summer of 2012, the City cut off water to the ship and the owner was evicted due to unpaid back taxes. It is expected that the removal of the ship from the slip will be costly, as the ship has not been seaworthy in years.
