DescriptionCaravelle CEV (18609721483).jpg |
The flags under the cockpit suggest that this SE210 Caravelle-III (number 116/CE) flew around the world, visiting countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. According to the Scramble database, the French military only had nine Sud Aviation 210 Caravelles. Two of them were at Brétigny that day. This was the last flying Caravelle in France when it was retired in February 1998 at Istres. It is preserved in the Musee Europeen de l'Aviation de Chasse in Montelimar. The photo was taken during the open house at Brétigny sur Orge on 27 September 1992. |
