Caricaturista:
Hecho: Uno de los objetivos del Presidente Interino León de la Barra, era el licenciamiento de las tropas revolucionarias y en especial de las fuerzas zapatistas, radicales en Morelos ya que representaban una amenaza a la Ciudad de México.
Madero propició dos treguas; una del 17 al 19 y otra del 20 al 21 de agosto de 1911. Durante las cuales acordó con Zapata y con el Presidente Interino las condiciones para efectuar el desarme. Zapata pedía respeto a la soberanía del estado y la sustitución del gobernador Carreón por el ingeniero Eduardo Hay o por el profesor Miguel Salinas, además estaba de acuerdo en que Raúl Madero se hiciera cargo de la jefatura de armas. Así mismo pedía conservar un grupo de hombres armados para custodiar la seguridad pública del estado mientras se elegía a la legislatura que debía buscar la solución el problema agrario.
La caricatura muestra el descontento provocado en el zapatismo, por las indecisiones de Madero, (a quien le cuelgan el teléfono) como resultado de la política de León de la Barra que, según ellos, buscaba exterminar a los campesinos armados.
