Description
English: Items that belonged to Carl Gustav Fleischer (1882–1942), a Norwegian general who recaptured the city of Narvik during the battles in May 1940. He thus became the first allied general to inflict a defeat on Hitler's Germany and the German forces in World War II.
  • Officer's visor cap, British-style peaked cap, with red hat band and Norwegian cap badge: cockade in national colors, braid, and an enameled button with the Norwegian lion.

Norsk bokmål: Uniformseffekter og annet som har tilhørt Carl Gustav Fleischer (1882–1942), en norsk generalmajor som under kampene om Narvik i mai 1940 kortvarig gjenerobret byen. Han ble dermed den første allierte generalen som påførte Hitler-Tyskland og de tyske styrkene et nederlag i andre verdenskrig.
  • Uniformslue, skyggelue av britisk modell, med luebånd i rødt og norsk luestolpe (luemerke) med kokarde (rosett) i nasjonalfargene, tresse og emaljert knapp med den norske løve (løveknapp) nederst.
