Summary edit

Description A barber's pole that hung outside the barber shop of Carl Schulz, father of Charles M. Schulz, near the corner of Snelling and Selby Avenues in St. Paul, Minnesota. It stayed there following Carl’s retirement in 1964. When Charles M. Schulz and his family visited the area in 1996, Charles M. Schulz’s daughter Jill came up with the idea to relocate the pole to Santa Rosa as a gift for her father and for visitors to the Redwood Empire Ice Arena. It is now located in Snoopy's Gallery and Gift Shop, which is adjacent to the arena.
