Description Four U.S. Navy aircraft of Carrier Air Group 14 in flight, circa in 1959 (l-r): A Vought F8U-1 Crusader from Fighter Squadron VF-142 Fighting Falcons (NK-103), A North American FJ-4B Fury from Attack Squadron VA-144 Roadrunners (NK-412, VA-116 until 23 February 1959), an FJ-4B from VA-146 Blue Diamonds (NK-310), and a Douglas A-1H Skyraider from VA-145 Swordsmen (NK-503). CVG-14 was assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Ranger (CVA-61).
