Description
English: Cartoon of the interior of the Arenberg Palace, Brussels. Oil on canvas, 300 x 420 cm. Painted by Georges Brasseur after a drawing by duke Engelbert-Marie of Arenberg (1915). It shows the gallery above the marble staircase constructed in 1906, with P. Plumier's statue of The Abduction of Persephone by Hades. Through the windows, the Palace of Justice, the Sablon church, the Townhall and Arenberg Palace (though the perspective is off).
