Carved wooden bench at Mission Santa Barbara, ca.1905
Photograph of a carved wooden bench at Mission Santa Barbara, ca.1905. The wooden bench has small waves carved on top of the backrest. On the bench sit a water pipe (?), tiles, mortar holding several pestles, a bowl-shaped basket (?). Sitting at left on the floor are two candlesticks (?) and a large stone object (?). At right stands a piano (?). There is a spindle decoration attached to the back of the bench.
