Description
English: Photo of the bosses at the Cascade Tunnel West Portal camp. The men are standing in front of the "pioneer" or "work" tunnel which was the first cut made to allow work to be done to build the actual tunnel. The men are identified on the photo.
Date Photo is dated in August 1926-has a 20 October 1926 date stamp and a 1926 copyright mark. Since the Great Northern Railway hired the photos to be taken, it's likely they distributed them to newspapers for publicity as to the progress of the project.
