Description

Case books, containing notes on patients by the medical staff, often accompanied by photographs. Founded by Thomas Holloway, the hospital opened in 1885 as an asylum for the middle and upper classes. It closed in 1981. First opening of book, detailing rules 12 and 13. Certified female patients admitted May 1898-May 1899.
