Summary edit

Description
English: The Mausoleum of Hadrian/Castel Sant'Angelo/Castle of the Holy Angel is a towering cylindrical museum building in Parco Adriano, Rome, Italy.

Castel Sant'Angelo was originally designed by Emperor Hadrian to be used as a mausoleum for his own family. The bridge was built in AD 134 by Hadrian with the statues added by Bernini in the 17th century.

The top statue is of Michael the Archangel, the angel from whom the building derives its name.
