Description
Español: Esta torre fuerte se encuentra en la zona conocida como Playa de las Coloradas y es conocida como Torre del Águila, como Castillo del Águila o como Castillo de las Coloradas. Se encuentra sobre un acantilado y tiene unas excelentes vistas de la parte sur de la isla de Lanzarote. El origen de está torre está en una Real Orden firmada por Felipe V en 1738 y el ingeniero Claudio de Liste la proyectó en 1742. Fue atacada en 1749 por piratas argelinos y restaurada en 1769 por el ingeniero Alejandro de los Ángeles
