Steam hauled special at Teignmouth, with 'Castle' class 4-6-0 No. 5029 "Nunney Castle" on the down Torbay Express of 14 July 2013. A diesel locomotive has been provided to perform the majority of the work over the steep banks on the line, due to a steam ban being in force on G.W metals, and the risk of sparks being fired skywards by a hard working steam engine in the tinder dry conditions prevailing at this time. Camera: Canon Power Shot A4000 IS 16.0 Digital. |
