Joseph Hannon, an individual augmentee chaplain with the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Task Force Duke, and a native of Leavenworth, Kan., and U.S. Army Sgt. Raul Medina, a mechanic in the 615th Military Police Company and a native of Robstown, Texas, sing hymns before a Catholic service at Forward Operating Base Goode, Afghanistan, March 28. Hannon travels five days a week visiting installations that don't have a Catholic chaplain to attend to their spiritual needs. His flock is spread over 24 installations in Khowst, Paktya and parts of Ghazni provinces. |
