Description

Cavendar is a 15-acre private irrigation pond located just outside the town of Monument within the John Day watershed. This pond is open to the public and provides an inexpensive, easily accessible area for a broad range of anglers, especially youths and senior citizens. Amenities include a small floating fishing dock, picnic tables, and a hiking trail. Non-motorized boats and float tubes are permitted on this pond. Fish for rainbow trout and largemouth bass.
