English: Cavendish railway station (site), Suffolk Opened in 1865 by the Great Eastern Railway on the line from Marks Tey to Cambridge, this station closed in 1967. View east towards Glemsford and Marks Tey. Only the end of one platform was extant when this image was taken from beside the still extant, former Station Master's residence. The rest of the station site is now under housing and gardens. |
