Description
English: Scharl Cemetery: CWGC headstone of Sergeant Thomas Quinlan, air gunner, Royal Air Force. Killed 2 August 1941 when his Wellington Mk. 1C was shot down by a night fighter and crashed in the IJsselmeer. Two bodies were recovered from the water. Sgt Walker is buried at Leeuwarden, and Sgt Quinlan at Scharl.
