Summary edit

Description

Rory Houston is a training instructor.

He is standing next to a Hawk Lead-In Fighter which are used by students. The student sits in the front while the instructor sits in the back seat. When the students complete their training lesson in the Hawk, they will graduate to more faster jets.

The zigzag lines on the window canopy is explosive cord. In an emergency if the pilot has to bail, the explosive cord is activated first, shattering the canopy, then the ejection seat (and pilot) are launched through the shattered canopy.
