Italiano: Illustrazione da Corrado Ricci, Cento vedute di Firenze antica, Firenze, Fratelli Alinari, 1906
Piazza della Signoria nel 1485, riprodotta in fondo a un affresco di Domenico Ghirlandaio, che s’ammira nella Cappella Sassetti in S. Trinità, e rappresenta papa Onorio III che approva la regola di S. Francesco. La Loggia dei Lanzi appare senza statue. Nella ringhiera del Palazzo della Signoria, all’angolo smussato del parapetto, sta il vecchio Marzocco. Accennate appena sono le case, abbattute nel 1560 per far posto agli Uffizi, e ben definito l’edificio che sorgeva a destra della Loggia.
