A garden with a plaque that says, "Former Residence of Cesar E. Chavez and Birth of the United Farm Workers Union 'You are never strong enough that you don't need help.' ~ Cesar E. Chavez." The plaque is placed on a square cement foundation and surrounded by stones and wood chips enclosed by red bricks separating it from green grass.

A plaque on the edge of the property that Cesar Chavez and his family rented in Delano, CA, in the 1960s. The house was the first headquarters of the Farm Workers Association, the precursor to the United Farm Workers.
