| Description |
La chapelle Sainte-Marguerite, anciennement l'église du village, est le seul vestige du village d' Himmolsheim disparu au XVIème siècle. La tour-choeur a été élevée vers 1200. Dans le choeur existe toujours l'autel d'origine en pierre. La nef a été reconstruite au XVIIIème siècle. La chapelle est un lieu de pèlerinage local jusqu' au début du 20e siècle. Restauration du bâtiment après classement au titre des Monuments historiques en 1968. Chaque année, fin juillet, une célébration festive attire de nombreux pèlerins, attachés au culte de Ste Marguerite. La chapelle a été entièrement rénovée en 2010. |
