Description
English: Three types of ticket vending machines within the pedestrian bridge above the south end of the NRHP listed Chappaqua Railroad Depot and Depot Plaza on the Metro-North Harlem Line in Chappaqua, New York. Built in 1902 by New York Central Railroad as a replacement for earlier stations, some of which were built by the New York and Harlem Railroad, it is still used partially by Metro-North Railroad, which rebuilt many of their stations along the tracks with high-level platforms, staircases, pedestrian bridges, and elevators between 1983 and 1984. This view also contains a modern electronic MTA information board next to the ticket vending machines, which is essentially just a flat-screen TV used as a monitor with train information in the color scheme of the Harlem Line. Obviously, this segment is not the version that's on the NRHP.
