Description

English: Under the Victorian Viaduct at Chappel is the enduring and powerful view of the supporting uprights. The geometry, scale and perspective of this man-made wonder immerses you an an Escher-like world of ever decreasing shape. I was once told that there are as many bricks in this structure as lives wasted on the battlefields in the Great War.
