Description
La Casa de Moneda, por Ernest Charton. Se ve la plazuela que separaba La Moneda del edificio que ocupó el Ministerio de Guerra, con árboles, la estatua de del escultor francés Jean-Joseph Perraud, inaugurada el 6 de septiembre de 1860, y dos pilas de aguas (antecesoras a la de Las tres Gracias) a sus costados. El que Charton haya dibujado la silueta de la estatua significa que el óleo es posterior a la fecha de inauguración de esta.
