| Description |
English: Chesil Beach, Dorset. There is very little land in this square. About thirty metres of shingle appears at low water. This image was taken about an hour before low water which explains why the viewpoint is under water. The photographer's feet were on the seabed. Because the beach, while impressive, is much the same for kilometre after kilometre, it would have been nearly impossible to ascertain the viewpoint position without a GPS. This view is to the south-east. Next image west to east 792392 |
