Description
English: This is Chester, a local cat who was often found in Brunswick Square Gardens. There was a sign near the entrance:

NOT HOMELESS!

As much as this ginger tart may like you to believe it, he is neither homeless nor left hungry. Now he's getting a bit older (14) Chester does have ailments from time to time but will always be having treatment from the vet for them. He was homeless, over 12 years ago, but somehow the rumour still persists... his doleful eyes don't help with dispelling that! Please be reassured that he has a very loving home. Thanks.

Chester passed away on 2023-08-20 as told by a new sign:

Our hearts are broken. On Sunday 20th August we said goodbye to our beautiful, gentle, loving Chester.

He developed complications due to hyperthyroidism which sadly coudn't be treated.

At nearly 16 he'd had a great life but oh for one more morning snuggle. He died in my arms while | kissed his head and told him how much he was loved. And he wes so very loved.
